Hamburger - B. Dortmund
3 - 4

Borussia Dortmund beat Hamburg to replace Bayer Leverkusen at the top of the Bundesliga on Saturday.
Dortmund, 4-3 winners at Hamburg in a match that saw both sides reduced to ten men, now lead the table by a point from Leverkusen with Bayern Munich a point further back.
So for the third year in succession, the Bundesliga will be settled on the final day of the season.
Hamburg defender Ingo Hertzsch was sent off on 34 minutes and Dortmund made the most of their man advantage when Amoroso stroked home the resulting penalty moments later.
Tomas Rosicky doubled Dortmund's advantage two minutes after that, but Hamburg forced themselves back into the match when BVB defender Christian Worns was sent off three minutes from the break, allowing Raphael Wicky to fire home the resulting spot-kick.
Amoroso struck his second of the afternoon mid-way through the second half to restore his side's two goal cushion, only for Hamburg to pull within one through Nico-Jan Hoogma with ten minutes to play.
Jan Koller's late strike made sure of the points, although Hamburg set up a nervous finale when Eric Meijer struck in the final minute.

The Champions' League hopefuls were sensationally beaten by FC Nuremberg, who guaranteed their top-flight survival and sent down Freiburg.
Bayer, whose temperament had been questioned by Bayern goalkeeper Oliver Kahn during the week, lost for the second week in a row.
Germany's nearly men, who face Manchester United in the second leg of their Champions' League semi-final on Tuesday, were undone by a spirited Nuremberg side who clinched the points through Czech defender Marek Nikl mid-way through the first half.

Werder Bremen - St. Pauli
3 - 2

Werder Bremen remain on course for a Uefa Cup place after coming from behind to beat relegated St Pauli 3-2.
St Pauli stunned Thomas Schaaf's side with goals from Christian Rahn and Thomas Meggle in the opening 16 minutes.

Frings capped the comeback with the winner and his second of the afternoon with 11 minutes to play
.

The strike proved enough to give Hertha a victory that keeps alive their hopes of playing Champions' League football next season
.

Nuremberg - Bayern Munich
1 - 2

Bayern Munich climbed to third as they came out on top in the Bavarian derby to reawaken Nuremberg's relegation fears.
Giovane Elber gave the champions the lead on 11 minutes, capitalising after Andreas Wolf had failed to clear a cross from Stefan Effenberg.
Claudio Pizarro added a second four minutes from the break, after Antony Sanneh had deflected Willy Sagnol's shot into his path.
Jacek Krzynowek tucked home a penalty on 73 minutes to give the away side some hope, but defender Tomas Kos picked up a second yellow card moments later to effectively hand Bayern the points.

Jorgen Pettersson struck after 48 minutes to give Kaiserslautern a 1-0 win at the Betzenberg on Sunday leaving Leverkusen well clear at the top.
Afterwards Sammer conceded his team's title challenge was all but over and insisted his goal was now a place in Europe's premier club competition.
The result was greeted with glee by Leverkusen boss Klaus Toppmoller, who vowed to return the favour to Kaiserslautern as they seek passage to the Uefa Cup.

Bayer Leverkusen - Cologne
2 - 0

Hans-Jorg Butt scored from the spot as Bayer Leverkusen took a giant stride towards their first-ever Bundesliga title by beating FC Cologne on Saturday.
The goalkeeper converted from 12 yards after Michael Ballack appeared to fall over in the area when he was released by Yildiray Basturk.
Brazilian centre-back Lucio doubled the home side's lead on 25 minutes, scampering down the right before placing a shot between Markus Proll's legs.

Bayern Munich - W. Bremen

Schalke 04 - Hamburg

Schalke 04 kept up their hopes of a place in the Champions' League by moving into third with a 2-0 win over Hamburg.

Bad match for K'Lautern.

Wolfsburg - Hertha Berlin
1 - 3

Hertha Berlin secured another win under interim coach Falke Gotz, beating Wolfsburg 3-1 to stay three points behind Schalke and one adrift of Bayern.
Michael Hartmann gave the away side the lead with their first chance of the game in the 25th minute after being fed by Stefan Beinlich.
Michael Preetz made it 2-0 and, although Diego Klimowicz reduced the arrears, 20-year-old Thorben Marx pounced on a weak clearance from Maik Franz to make it
3-1.

B. Dortmund - Munich 1860
2 - 1

Borussia Dortmund kept their title challenge going on Sunday by coming from behind to beat 1860 Munich thanks to goals from Sebastian Kehl and Jorg Heinrich.
Lions striker Markus Schroth gave the visitors a surprise lead on 11 minutes, but Dortmund, doubtless inspired by their 4-0 Uefa Cup triumph over AC Milan in midweek, needed only 15 minutes to turn the game on its head.
The outstanding Kehl grabbed his first goal for the club, then Heinrich's volley from a deflected Tomas Rosicky corner settled the match.
The hosts were guilty of wasting several chances as Ewerthon, Otto Addo and Jan Koller were all denied by the woodwork and 1860 goalkeeper Simon Jentzsch's heroics.
Matthias Sammer then saw 1860 striker Martin Max twice go close just before the final whistle.
Dortmund are now four points behind leaders Bayer Leverkusen with four games remaining.

Comments about the 29th Bundesliga round

Hamburg - Bayern Munich
0 - 0

Bayern Munich are seven points behind the leaders after they were held to a goalless draw at Hamburg.

B. M'Gladbach - Hertha Berlin
3 - 1

Ivo Ulich fired Borussia Monchengladbach into a fourth minute lead against Hertha Berlin, and, although Marcelinho levelled from the spot 12 minutes before half-time, two second half goals from Lawrence Aidoo completed a 3-1 triumph.

Kaiserslautern - B. Leverkusen
2 - 4

Ulf Kirsten struck in the first minute as Bayer Leverkusen stretched their lead at the top of the Bundesliga to four points with a thrilling victory at Kaiserslautern.
It took Kirsten just ten seconds to put the leaders ahead, and Klaus Toppmoller's side looked to have the game wrapped up when Oliver Neuville added a second on 16 minutes, after Michael Ballack had diverted a Zoltan Sebsecen shot into his path.
The home side were given hope on the stroke of half-time as Hany Ramzy fired home a loose ball from just inside the box, and ten minutes after the break they levelled, Vratislav Lokvenc forcing the ball over the line after Jeff Strasser had headed on a Mario Basler free-kick.
But Michael Ballack held his nerve to convert from the spot 13 minutes from time and Dimitar Berbatov made it 4-2 four minutes from time to give Leverkusen a comfortable cushion with just five games of the season remaining.
The only sour note for Leverkusen was the dismissal of Diego Placente for a second yellow card in the dying seconds.

Stuttgart - Borussia Dortmund
3 - 2

Borussia Dortmund crashed to a 3-2 defeat at Stuttgart.
Dortmund fell behind on 33 minutes, Sean Dundee firing home after Philippe Laux had palmed out Jochen Seitz's cross. Four minutes later it got even worse for Mattias Sammer's team as Silvio Meissner clipped home a free-kick.
Christian Worns pulled one back six minutes after half-time following a corner, but Stuttgart restored their advantage 13 minutes later as Ioan Ganea made the most of a Sebastian Kehl error. Jan Koller reduced the deficit on 79 minutes, but Stuttgart held on to put a serious dent in Dortmund's title hopes.

Cologne - Schalke 04
1 - 1

Cologne blocked Schake in a no spectacular draw

Werder Bremen - H. Rostock
4 - 3

Werder Bremen keeper Frank Rost is convinced his side will clinch a Uefa Cup place after scoring in a dramatic 4-3 win over Hansa Rostock on Sunday.
Bremen remain seventh, but have now closed the gap on six-placed Kaiserslautern to only three points.
Despite taking an early lead through Ailton, Bremen were outclassed for much of the first half and Rostock went into the break 2-1 in front courtesy of a Rene Rydlewicz penalty and an Antonio di Salvo strike.
Germany international Torsten Frings headed the equaliser one minute into the second half, but Hansa restored their lead almost immediately when Rayk Schroder beat Rost with a well-placed shot from ten yards.
Marcus Arvidsson, Steffen Baumgart and Radwan Yasser all missed great opportunities to put the game beyond doubt before the Weserstadion crowd was stunned twice in the final 90 seconds as the home side turned the match on its head.
First keeper Rost raced forward to fire home Kristian Lisztes' 89th minute corner, then Frings was bungled over in the box by Schroder to allow Ailton to hit the winner from the penalty spot.
Victory would have ended Rostock's relegation fears, and coach Armin Veh was distraught at the outcome.
Wins for fellow strugglers Nuremberg, Cottbus and Monchengladbach, meant that Rostock have dropped back to fourteenth spot, only six points adrift of third-bottom Freiburg.

B. Leverkusen - Munich 1860
4 - 0

Bundesliga leaders Bayer Leverkusen, fresh from their Champions' League win over Deportivo, took the lead against 1860 Munich just before half-time through Zoltan Sebescen and never looked back.
Striker Ulf Kirsten made the points safe with a goal just after the break before Yildiray Basturk added a third and Kirsten finished the 4-0 rout.
Leverkusen are now one point clear of second-placed Borussia Dortmund and will be pleased they showed no ill effects from the absence of midfield star Michael Ballack through suspension.

Bayern Munich - Cologne
3 - 0

Bayern Munich goalkeeper Oliver Kahn had warned his team-mates they could kiss the title goodbye if they failed to beat FC Cologne, but Bayern struggled to make the breakthrough against the bottom-placed club.
Brazilian star Giovane Elber finally came up with the opening goal on 64 minutes and Hasan Salihamidzic marked his league return with a goal in the closing stages, before Elber added his second to make it 3-0.

Hertha Berlin - Nuremberg
2 - 0

Hertha Berlin had recorded five wins and a draw since interim boss Falko Gotz replaced Jurgen Rober and they continued their fine run against injury-ravaged FC Nuremberg.
Alex Alves scored early on and the Brazilian doubled the lead on 33 minutes to complete a 2-0 win. Berlin star Marcelinho could even afford to miss a first-half penalty.

Schalke 04 - Kaiserslautern
3 - 0

Schalke 04, still without Emile Mpenza, went ahead against Kaiserslautern through their other Belgium star, Marc Wilmots, just before the break.
The Red Devils fell further behind when Andreas Moller netted on the hour and Victor Agali rounded off a convincing win for Schalke, who remain level with Bayern in the third and final Champions' League position.

B. Dortmund - E. Cottbus
3 - 0

Borussia Dortmund had little problem closing the gap on Bundesliga leaders Bayer Leverkusen with victory over Energie Cottbus but the win was overshadowed by an amazing bust-up between BVB coach Matthias Sammer and Brazilian striker Marcio Amoroso.
The two flared up 20 minutes from time when Amoroso, refused to go off to be replaced by Miroslav Stevic.
Amoroso, the Bundesliga's leading scorer with 15 goals this season, felt that Sammer was robbing him of the chance to build on the record.
The former Parma star had missed four clean-cut chances during the game, which Dortmund won 3-0, and had a goal disallowed for offside.
It was fully two minutes before Stevic was finally allowed to get onto the pitch.
Rosicky and Ewerthon were on target for the BVB in the first half before substitute Billy Reina added a third late on to bring Dortmund within a point of Bayer at the top.

Wolfsburg - Werder Bremen
2 - 0

Wolfsburg striker Diego Fernando Klimowicz turned in another match-winning performance as he scored one and set up Martin Petrov for the second in a 2-0 win over Weder Bremen.
The rangy striker, who is of Ukrainian origin and holds a Spanish passport, was signed from Argentine side Atletico Lanus in the summer but initially failed to adjust to the Bundesliga.
Klimowicz broke his duck for Wolfsburg earlier this month, scoring twice against rock-bottom Cologne.
The former San Lorenzo forward was once again on target against Bremen as he rounded goalkeeper Frank Rost and slotted home from close range on 65 minutes.
Klimowicz played down his contribution, giving Croatian team-mate Marian Biliskov the credit for picking him out with a pin-point 30-yard pass.
Only 14 minutes later, Klimovicz delivered a pass of similar quality to set-up Martin Petrov. The pacy Bulgarian beat the onrushing Rost to the ball and flicked the ball into the empty net.
Bremen, much the better side at the beginning, felt aggrieved by the referee, who controversially waved play on when Frank Baumann's header appeared to have crossed the line.
Dorinel Munteanu cleared off the line with goalkeeper Claus Reitmaier already beaten.
Wolfsburg regained 10th spot, but Bremen, who stay seventh, are rapidly losing touch with the Uefa places after losing their fourth game in five.

Freiburg - Borussia Dortmund
1 - 5

Four goals in six minutes fired Borussia Dortmund to a 5-1 win thrashing of lowly Freiburg to keep their title ambitions alive.
They now trail leaders Leverkusen by a single point.
Freiburg took the lead from Levan Kobiashvili's early free-kick, but Dortmund immediately hit back through Evanilson.
Dortmund keeper Jens Lehmann was then lucky not to concede a penalty and be sent off for a kick on Soumaila Coulibaly that the referee missed.
The match remained level until 64 minutes when Dede put Dortmund ahead with a left-foot strike.
That proved the turning point as within six minutes Marcio Amoroso and Jan Koller (twice) had also scored to seal victory.

Seven minutes later Mehmet Scholl added a second with a 22-yard free-kick.

B. Dortmund - St. Pauli
1 - 1

Matthias Sammer's team, who have won just two of their last nine matches, were hopelessly out of sorts at the Westfalenstadion and it came as no surprise when St Pauli took a 32nd minute lead as Kehl's deflected Christian Rahn's shot into the back of his own net.
Dortmund strived to find their rhythm after the break, but the home fans had to wait until the 82nd minute before their team drew level. The goal came from a Marcio Amoroso penalty after Henning Burger had brought down David Odonkor inside the area.
St Pauli had playmaker Thomas Meggle sent off in the dying moments, but they hung on to secure the point. Nevertheless, they remain deep in relegation trouble, lying second from bottom with just 18 points from 25 matches.

The result elevated Brehme's men to within two points of leaders Bayer Leverkusen and the former Germany international was delighted with his side's battling display.
A Marian Hristov own-goal had put Wolfsburg ahead five minutes after the break but the same man hit back for the hosts on 64 minutes to get them back on level terms.
With 18 minutes left Dorinel Munteanu put struggling Wolsfburg back in front before Klose's vital strike.
Czech striker Vratislav Lokvenc got the third for Kaiserslautern with five minutes remaining to the dismay of Wolfsburg boss Wolfgang Wolf.

Comments about the 24th Bundesliga round

Bayern Munich - E. Cottbus
6 - 0

Germany midfielder Mehmet Scholl scored twice as Bayern Munich returned to Bundesliga form with a 6-0 drubbing of Energie Cottbus on Saturday.
Coach Ottmar Hitzfeld said before the game that this was Bayern's last chance to make up lost ground. The champions were fifth, seven points behind leaders Borussia Dortmund, who play Bayer Leverkusen on Sunday.
And Hitzfeld's players responded well.
Scholl, particularly, produced a virtuoso performance and set up Peruvian striker Claudio Pizarro for the opener on 15 minutes.
Skipper Stefan Effenberg scored the second from the spot and Scholl killed the game by making it 3-0 just before half-time. Scholl, Pizarro and Giovane Elber added further goals in the second half to complete the rout.
Goalkeeper Oliver Kahn was even allowed to miss a late penalty for the home side while the away side were reduced to nine men with the dismissals of Janus Matyus and Laurentin-Aurelio Reghecampf.

Hertha Berlin - Kaiserslautern
5 - 1

Kaiserslautern were humiliated by Hertha Berlin, the capital side securing a 5-1 win at the Olympiastadion.
Lautern were in trouble as soon as Taribo West brought down Alex Alves to give the home side a penalty in the 13th minute, which Marcelinho coolly converted. Brazilian Alves had an inspired game, setting up Bart Goor for the second and Michael Preetz for the third.
Germany striker Miroslav Klose scored a consolation on the stroke of half-time, but Preetz and Marcelinho completed the misery for Andreas Brehme's side.

Schalke 04 - Freiburg
3 - 0

Schalke 04 stay one point ahead of Bayern thanks to a 3-0 win over Freiburg. Huub Stevens' side took the lead when Gerald Asamoah fed Jorg Bohme down the right and the winger's low shot beat Richard Golz on 14 minutes.

B. Leverkusen - B. Dortmund
4 - 0

Bayer Leverkusen replaced Borussia Dortmund at the top of the Bundesliga with a devastating second-half display following the 54th minute sending off of Dortmund striker Jan Koller.
Koller received his second yellow card for lashing out in frustration at Argentina international Diego Placente shortly after Carsten Ramelow had doubled the home side's advantage, and with the Czech international went Dortmund's hopes of salvaging something from the match.
The league leaders had got off to the better start and had the ball in the back of the net on eight minutes only for Ewerthon's strike to be controversially ruled out for offside.
Dortmund then completely lost their rhythm when Michael Ballack gave the hosts the lead with their first attempt on goal.
Argentine left-back Diego Placente raced clear on the left with 31 minutes gone and found the unmarked Germany midfielder on the edge of the box, and he beat keeper Jens Lehmann with a well-placed shot low into the far corner to score his league-leading thirteenth goal of the season.
Five minutes after the restart it was Lehmann's error that gifted Leverkusen their second, Ramelow heading home at the far post after the keeper had failed to clear a corner from the right.
Leverkusen's dominance was complete following the sending off of Koller, and Klaus Topmuller's side soon made their man-advantage count, Oliver Neuville adding the third, his seventh in the Bundesliga this season, with a sharp header from ten yards on 64 minutes.
A rampant Leverkusen had further chances to stretch their lead and Lehmann was forced into a good save with his feet after Yildiray Basturk had picked out Neuville in the box on 66 minutes.
But the Germany keeper was powerless to prevent substitute Dimitar Berbatov from getting onto the scoresheet on 75 minutes when he shot hard and low to the keeper's left from just inside the box after a clever pass from Neuville.

Werder Bremen - Hamburg
0 - 1

Hamburg coach Kurt Jara had new signing Bernardo Romeo to thank again as the Argentinian scored for the fourth time in six starts to lead Hamburg to victory.
Bremen will be wondering how they failed to take at least a point from a game they dominated from the outset.
Only the heroics of Hamburg keeper Martin Pieckenhagen ensured HSV went into the break on level terms after making spectacular saves from Torsten Frings and Ailton.
Bremen's pressure increased still further after the break with Frings again coming close on two occasions.
The home side's best chance of the match fell to playmaker Kristian Lisztes who hit the post after bursting through on the left.
Romeo then turned the game upside down when he latched onto a mis-placed header from unfortunate Bremen defender Viktor Skripnik and fired home the winner.
